La Lyonnaise
Holiday brief

A holiday that provides the opportunity to sample the delights of rural Southern France, yet based in the heart of the country ’s second largest city, Lyon, considered by many to be the gastronomic centre of France. This holiday contrasts rural, seldom used lines, with famous mountain railways, and includes some superb scenic surprises. All this plus, of course, the added excitement of first-class travel by Eurostar from St. Pancras International and T.G.V. to Lyon.   This spectacular holiday has all the ingredients so typical of Inside Track’s innovative itineraries. Alpine splendour, varied and dramatic coach and rail travel, an excellent hotel in Lyon and above all, a series of surprises.
Cruising the Isere
